Updates, in addition to the desired improvements, sometimes also bring new problems. This was the case with the Apple Watch, which started to fail after updating to WatchOS 8.3.
Update bugs happen every now and then, even to companies like Apple. Owners of the manufacturer’s smartwatches began to report problems that appeared with the Apple Watch after the recent OS update. This applies to one of the most important features of these watches, which many already complain about. It’s all about battery operation, which under normal conditions leaves a lot to be desired.
It turns out that WatchOS 8.3 has caused many users to have problems with charging the battery. It manifests itself in various ways, e.g. one user noticed an increase in the battery level by only two percent after an hour of charging. Much of the problem is with people who use third-party chargers – charging is either very slow or stops working after a few minutes. However, this is not a rule, because owners of original chargers noticed similar errors.
For now, it remains to wait for a response from Apple. The company should investigate the reported problems and issue an appropriate update in the near future.
