Both smartphones had their premiere some time ago, but only now have they been sold in our country. We will pay PLN 4,499 for ROG Phone 5s, and PLN 5,899 for the Pro model. Is it worth it? It depends on you, but as a reminder, let’s check what these models offer.
Their specification is basically similar, and the differences come down to the appearance. Both models are equipped with 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED HDR displays offering a refresh rate of 144 Hz. In both we find the Snapdragon 888+ processor, but with different memory configurations. In the 5S Pro model it is 18/256 GB, and in the 5S – 8/128 GB, 12/256 GB and 16/256 GB. Asus has equipped these smartphones with powerful 6000 mAh batteries that support 65 W fast charging. When it comes to cameras, we get a 24 Mpix selfie camera on the front, and a triple configuration of 64 + 8 + 5 Mpix on the back (main, wide-angle and macro camera) .
As already mentioned, the differences can be found mainly in the appearance. The rear panel of ROG Phone 5s Pro uses a PAMOLED color display. The manufacturer resigned from equipping the base model with it, but in return we get an illuminated Republic of Gamers logo. When it comes to their gaming functions, this more fancy version has two touch sensors that will be used while playing, and the less – ultrasonic AirTrigger 5 buttons located on the side edge.
