Description

C-Media 8768 (VIA Tremor 79550 chipset) is one of the most popular sound cards supporting 7.1 audio format and 8 playback channels (24-bit, 96 kHz). There are 2 audio channels for recording at 16-bit and 48 kHz parameters. The card connects to the motherboard via a PCI slot. Users can connect up to 7 pairs of speakers (1 subwoofer). The card also supports EAX 2.0 in games.
