Very occasionally you see the crypto world interfering with the sports world. Two American sports teams were added this month. The latest is NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers.

Many advertising options

The accompanying press release states that UnitedCoin can advertise fully during the matches at the Quicken Loans Arena, the home of the team. UnitedCoin also gets the opportunity to advertise in the center of Cleveland.

The Cavaliers manager, Nic Barlage, says the team supports emerging tech in the US:

What is UnitedCoin?

UnitedCoin claims that they are registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The platform promises to send and receive fiat and cryptocurrency users using an email or telephone number. They also offer a service that allows you to link your cryptocurrency to your payment card, so you can pay for goods and services with your normal bank card with crypto goods and services.

The company participated in the Mexican branch of Plug and Play, a start-up accelerator program with 26 locations around the world. That’s where the collaboration with the Cavs comes from, one of those 26 locations is in Cleveland.

Last week the Litecoin Foundation announced a collaboration with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are an American Football team and they place Litecoin advertisements in the NFL stadium and online. The Litecoin Foundation previously advertised during UFC battles.
