Canon PIXMA MG2440 is an inexpensive compact multifunctional device. It is great for home printing. The MFP uses 2 types of printing – color and black and white. In addition to regular sheets (A4, A5, B5) and envelopes, you can also use glossy photo paper. The speed is approximately equal to 4 pages per minute for color printing. With black and white printing, it reaches 8 pages per minute. A USB port is used to connect the device to a PC.

Download the main driver for the MG2440 from the Files section. Run the executable file. First, we will be asked to disconnect the printer cable and close all available programs. Next, you need to confirm the license agreement. After that, you need to reconnect the USB cable to our PC to continue with the installation. The next step involves choosing a region, completing the installation and downloading the documentation.

Although the driver is suitable for almost all Windows operating systems, there may be some problems in the 10th version. Some of the functionality is simply not available there. And the layout may not be printed correctly from the standard setting screen. In this case, the manufacturer recommends changing the paper size on the print settings screen.

This driver is compatible with PIXMA MG2440 and PIXMA MG2450. To expand the functionality of the MFP, we recommend using the My Image Garden utility for importing and editing photos. This program can be found in the Files section.
