Edge, the Microsoft browser, also arrives on Linux: here is the first (short) sighting

Microsoft released the stable version of Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 and macOS in January of this year, however the web browser of the Redmond company has not yet revealed itself for Linux users, who are still waiting to get their hands on the new software based on Chromium.

The Redmond giant had officially confirmed in the past that the web browser would make an appearance on the competing operating system during Ignite 2019, but the company has not yet provided updates. In these days the Build 2020, of course only in online format, however to date we have not received any news on Edge for Linux.

Actually something appeared: some of the most careful users have noticed that Microsoft has shown, without dwelling too much on it, a unedited version of Microsoft Edge for Linux within the digital event. Zhuowen Cui published a frame on Twitter that shows the browser running on a Linux environment, receiving hundreds of interactions on the post.

Microsoft has long marked the Linux version of Edge as "arriving", however, to date we do not have any information relating to the timing of release.
