The Fedora Project announced the availability of Fedora 32. Distribution is available as Fedora Workstation for desktop computers and is aimed in particular at software developers who want a ready-to-use operating system. Fedora 32 enables TRIM features by default to improve SSD and EarlyOOM performance, designed to optimize the behavior of the operating system when the available memory is reduced. "In the past, if a system had limited memory available, it triggered high use of the swap file, sometimes leading to slowdowns of the user interface or to blocking for a certain period of time. With EarlyOOM active by default, users can recover and regain control over your system in such situations.
