G.SKILL RAMs achieve DDR4- 5000 MHz with Comet Lake-S

The latest 10th generation Intel Comet Lake-S processors are not yet available to the general public, but in G.SKILL laboratories they have already managed to get hold of several and have been put to tests and certifications to verify that speeds are capable of reach your RAM memories. Tests provided by G.SKILL reveal that its RAMs under Comet Lake-S are capable of being squeezed by these new CPUs.

RunMemtestPro 4.0 is the software used by G.SKILL for RAM stability testing

In the first image, we can see a test performed using RunMemtestPro 4.0 on an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA motherboard with UEFI 0025 using an Intel Core i7-10700K at 4.7 GHz. With a voltage of 1.81V they have managed to achieve (using 2 of the 4 available memory slots) frequencies of 4400 MHz with latencies CAS C19 – tRCD 26 – tRP 26 – tRAS 46 with a very high tRFC of 1023 cycles and with a Command Rate of 2T using 2 32GB RAM modules.

The test was successfully carried out for more than 4 hours guaranteeing that the memory was completely stable, something quite commendable considering that these memories have a base JEDEC frequency of 2666 MHz.

In the following image you can see the use of the top of the range 10th generation Intel processor, the Core i9-10900K, to 4.9 GHz with a voltage of 1,234V. To perform this test they have again resorted to using the RunMemtestPro 4.0 for more than 2 hours to check its stability and they have used the top of the range ASUS motherboard, the ROG MAXIMUS XII EXTREME with UEFI 0034.

Dual Channel has been used again, the 2 selected modules are 16 GB of RAM with a base JEDEC frequency of 2133 MHz and have achieved with them a frequency of 4400 MHz with a latency CAS 17 – tRCD 18 – tRP 18 – tRAS 32 and a 770 tRFC with a 2T CR.

Comet Lake-S will be able to support DDR4-5000 MHz RAM without too many problems

As can be seen in the image, using an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII APEX motherboard with UEFI 0601 together with the Intel Core i9-10900K at 4.9 GHz at 1.074V, the RunMemtestPro 4.0 has been run for 20 minutes with speeds of RAM clock G.SKIL DDR45000 MHz with timings 19-26-26-46-875-2T Dual Channel with memories with a base frequency of 2133 MHz and 8 GB each capacity.

Speeds have also been achieved DDR45000 MHz with timings of CL19-26-26-46-1023-2T using an ASRock Z490 AQUA motherboard with UEFI L1.140 with a 4.9 GHz Intel Core i9-10900KF with a voltage of 1,248V. The chosen configuration has been Dual Channel with 8 GB of capacity each module with a base frequency of 2133 MHz.

The lower image is the only one of all where G.SKILL lets us see the 1,544V voltage which has been used in the 2 RAM modules of 8 GB each with a base frequency of 2133 MHz to achieve a frequency of DDR45000 MHz at 19-28-28-48-875-2T.

The configuration used is an Intel Core i9-10900K at 4.8 GHz and a voltage of 1,102V on an MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE motherboard that, using the RunMemtestPro 4.0, has managed to remain stable during the 3 hours and 43 minutes that the test was carried out. of stability.

As seen in the tests, the RAM with Comet Lake-S will be able to reach higher speeds than those obtained by previous processors with more ease and greater stability, which indicates an improvement in the integrated processor memory controller for this new generation. which is upon arrival.
