Galaxy shows off the all-white GTX 1080 Hall Of Fame at Computex 2016

During this year’s Computex trade fair, a whole range of graphics cards were shown with Nvidia’s new GP104 circuit with third-party coolers in various forms. now the Taiwanese manufacturer Galax is also showing off its models for the Geforce GTX 1080.

In the top segment, the all-white Galaxy Geforce GTX 1080 Hall Of Fame is found, where the company aims to set new overclocking records and is expected to have a clock frequency of around 1,800 MHz in the basic version. In addition, the card is equipped with double 8-pin connectors and is rumored to have 15 current phases. The card’s I / O panel also has a switch that the company calls Turbo-switch, which will quickly clock up the card to an as yet unknown frequency.

Slightly below that is the Geforce GTX 1080 EX OC series, which is expected to fall between the reference model and the Hall Of Fame with a clock frequency around 1,700 MHz. The current is supplied via a simple 8-pin connector, again with an unknown number of current phases. Finally, a reference model with a less modified cooler is also launched and is expected to be close to Nvidia’s recommended price.

Regarding the EX OC and the Hall Of Fame models, these will end up approximately 10-15 and 20 percent above the reference model, respectively. Whether these will reach the Nordic market is still unknown.
