Honda has given the children in the hospitals a reason to be happy with her Shogo

Honda, known mainly for its cars, designed a special Shogo small electric vehicle for the youngest, who were forced to endure the hardships of life too quickly. It provides them with moments of entertainment in hospitals, trying to relieve stress during the often demanding and lengthy treatment process.

Shogo is already in use at Children’s Health Orange County, California, providing an alternative to being pushed in wheelchairs for children in treatment there for various visits and examinations. That’s why Honda designed this vehicle to be as affordable as possible for them – hence the lack of a door, no roof and simplified steering with a maximum speed of 8 or 1.6 km / h, controlled by an adult.

Each element of the Shogo has been designed with the different needs of young children in mind, to make it as easy as possible for them to get in and out, easy to drive and to make the whole experience a bit happier

In addition, this little BEV also retains “hospital functionality” as it has both a push bar for a second person, a drip holder and a place to carry medical equipment or a stuffed toy. The Shogo also has cup holders, a horn with various sounds, and easy-to-clean surfaces, and it is not Honda’s first vehicle aimed at children.
