Honor followed the blow and just six months after the 50 series launched, the Honor 60 series was released. Should we expect big changes and innovations? Probably not.
The Honor 60 series consists of the base model and the Pro model. At least so far nothing is known about the SE variant
Honor surprised us. Only a few weeks ago, the first mentions of new flagships appeared, and they have already been presented. And let’s remind you that Honor 50 debuted in June. So it’s really fast pace. Probably for this reason, we should not expect a revolution. The 60 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G + chipset, an updated version of the processor that powers the 50 family and the base model in the new series.
Both models are equipped with OLED screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 100% DCI P3 coverage and HDR10 certification (HDR10 + for Pro). Both are also curved, although in the case of the Pro variant, the curvature is greater. Honor 60 has a screen diagonal of 6.67 inches, and 60 Pro – 6.78 inches. Just like in the Honor 50 series, we have a 108 Mpix main camera, but the Pro model got an improved 50 Mpix ultra wide angle lens, while the Honor 60 has an 8 Mpix ultra wide angle camera. In both there is also a 2 Mpix depth sensor. When it comes to selfie cameras, we have 32 Mpix (in the basic model) and 50 Mpix with a wide angle in the Pro.
Battery capacity has improved significantly, in both models it is 4800 mAh with fast charging with 66W power. The Honor 60 series will come to the market with the Magic UI 5.0 overlay, based on Android 12.
