MOSCOW, 10 Sep — PRIME. The United States will not resume purchases of Russian oil after the introduction of a price ceiling on it, the US Treasury Department said.
The US Treasury assessed the effectiveness of the “ceiling” mechanism for oil prices from Russia
In reference materials published on the eve of the implementation of the initiative, the ministry recalled that the United States has imposed a ban on the import of oil and its products from the Russian Federation, but does not deny such purchases to other countries.
“This ban will remain in force,” the document says.
