Intel announced the future of RealSense. It’s not good

Two weeks ago, Sagi Ben Moshe announced his retirement from Intel, and it just so happens that he has been the leader of the RealSense counter team. We could already expect the future of RealSense then, and now we have received an official announcement.

Intel will end the fun with RealSense to move its resources to the new target. This is how to regain the king’s title in the semiconductor market

Find out for yourself whether this project was a success by remembering how often you have heard of it. However, this is a somewhat unfair approach to RealSense, because this technology was not the domain of mainstream but professional recipients, which is why few used it. No wonder we didn’t hear about it very often – we just didn’t have the opportunity to do so.

This time, Intel decided to officially announce its plans with RealSense to the CRN service, to which it shared the statement. According to him, Intel has decided to end the development of this technology and shift resources to activities “that better support key movements in the semiconductor market.” The future of RealSense is now clear, because its… it will simply not be, but Intel will keep the agreements concluded so far.
