Intel officially admits to the Z390 chipset

Even higher high-end in the consumer edition. Intel revealed on its website information about the Z390 chipset, which is supposed to be slightly better than the Z370 chip. But how does it work in practice?

The Z390 chipset has appeared in numerous leaks before, but only now can we talk about its real capabilities. The problem is that this one does not differ much from the highest in the current hierarchy of blue – Z370. Both the number and specificity of the PCIe lane remained unchanged, which also applies to the support for operating memory. Ultimately, the only differences are the compatibility with USB 3.1 Gen2 and the guarantee of the presence of the 802.11ac Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth 5 version.

It is obviously intended for 8th Gen Core processors, and Intel advertises it as “designed for unlocked systems“. Ultimately, however, the Z390 did not make much difference to the Z370 and I hope it will do a bit more in real performance tests. His debut date has yet to be revealed, but it just so happens it could be around the corner. However, the exact answer to this question will be known at Computex in June.
