This year we should see a lot of foldable smartphones. Samsung, Huawei, Oppo, LG and even Xiaomi are preparing for the premiere.
However, one of the manufacturers who can also present something interesting is Intel. In 2017, he filed a patent for his own foldable smartphone. The entry was titled “Titled Electronic Device With Foldable Display Panels”. The devices have foldable displays. This is a bit like Microsoft Andromeda, so the device can become a small laptop with a virtual keyboard. Intel also wants to introduce a stylus that will make it easier to use.
Of course, we don’t expect Intel to actually bring something like this to the market. This is just a patent that does not necessarily have to be exercised. However, it’s good to know that the company is working on something like this, because maybe in the future it will present something similar to us.
