CAIRO, Sep 29 – PRIME. The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has recorded a decline in oil export revenues for the fourth month in a row, in August they amounted to about $9.7 billion, follows from statistics published by the ministry.
“The total volume of exports of crude oil in August amounted to 101 million 859 thousand 528 barrels, revenues – 9 billion 688 million 903 thousand dollars,” the INA agency quoted the statement of the Ministry of Oil.
The average oil price for the reporting period reached $95 per barrel, also stated in the release.
Iraq’s revenues from oil exports in July amounted to about $10.6 billion, with an average price of $103.6 per barrel. In June, Iraq received $11.355 billion at an average oil price of $112.21 per barrel.
At the same time, oil exports in May brought Iraq a record amount for 50 years – $11.477 billion, with an average cost of a barrel of $112.19.
