Microsoft confirms: all its events will be digital until June 2021

With this news we have reported, in recent days, the intention of Microsoft to confirm in digital format all its most important conferences scheduled for the year 2020. Let's talk about Build, Inspire and Ignite, an event destined to gather a large number of participants and which for the COVID-19 pandemic will find their place only in digital format.

Ginny Caughey, Microsoft's MVP, has officially confirmed the direction of the company: all conferences scheduled by Microsoft for its fiscal year 2021 will be delivered in digital format only.

Microsoft's fiscal year opens on July 1 of each year, to end at the end of June of the following year. Consequently, this decision will be valid until the end of June 2021, going to influence all internal or external events of the company up to that period.

Consequently, the 2021 edition of Build will also be kept in digital format only; it can be assumed that it will be the 2021 edition of Ignite, a conference typically held in September, the first to return to a format that also includes physical presence of participants. Obviously all this is conditioned by the future evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic that will occur in different regions of the world.
