MSG Sphere London will receive the world’s largest LED screen

We have learned about the plans for MSG Sphere London, a sphere-shaped music and entertainment arena that will be built in the capital of Great Britain. It will be a project similar to what we can already see in Las Vegas and even more than you think. The MSG Entertainment Madison Square Garden branch is responsible for the project itself, with the participation of Populous, which specializes in stadium projects.

Ultimately, MSG Sphere London will take the form of a large ball rising from the ground, thanks to which it will be eye-catching from the outside, but inside there will also be something special, because the world’s largest LED screen. Ultimately, the entire building will be very similar to the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas and will reach a diameter of 120 meters and a maximum height of 90 meters, which is almost as much as Big Ben. There will also be several smaller auxiliary buildings around this sphere.

It is already known that the outer part of the sphere will consist of stainless steel facade panels with built-in programmable LEDs, which will be used to display advertising, but above all content related to the performances taking place inside. In turn, the world’s largest LED screen inside will be used to provide guests with an amazing experience, but at such an early stage, we do not know its technical details yet.

As is usual with such projects, this one will draw some of its energy from renewable sources and will have a completely green roof. Water consumption will also be minimized as much as possible, because the designers want the building to receive a BREEAM Very Good rating in the category of ecological buildings.
