What application will the world's largest aircraft be used for?

Airlander 10 is a machine whose prototype made its first flight in 2012. The company responsible for its design, Hybrid Air Vehicles, has just announced that the ship will be widely used.

The correct model was publicly tested in summer 2016. It was then that the helium-filled airship hybrid was in the air for about 20 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 65 km / h during this time. In a similar period, the purpose of Airlander 10 was mentioned. The developers emphasized that the ship is ideally suited for delivering cargo to hard-to-reach areas, communications and industrial purposes. In October last year, representatives of Hybrid Air Vehicles announced that work was underway on a luxurious, touristic version.

The machine is over 90 meters high and is able to lift a load with a total weight of up to 10 tons. The maximum height at which it can rise is approx. 4,800 meters, which is high enough to allow tourists to enjoy amazing views. It is thanks to the glass floor and huge windows that are supposed to provide breathtaking landscapes. Each of the cabins will measure 46 meters, contain a bedroom, bathroom, bar and a spacious (for air conditions) living room. At the same time, a total of 19 passengers will be on board the ship. With the maximum speed not exceeding 150 km / h, the cruises may not be the fastest, but they will certainly be very comfortable.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not know the price that potential customers will pay for such an attraction.
