MSI showed a limited MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard for the price of a graphics card

Finally, MSI has decided to officially reveal its flagship MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard with all the most important details. It is huge, because the largest currently available model of the Z690 board, which measures 305 × 310 mm in its format, which allowed the manufacturer to go crazy not only with LEDs, but also with accessories.

The MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE motherboard is one of the kind you buy not only for performance, but also for exploring next-generation hardware. The huge square, which has been practically completely enclosed with panels and cooling, has only a “hole” for expansion cards, four DDR5-6666 + modules with a capacity of up to 128 GB, power connectors and the processor itself. On the side of the power section, there are as many as 22 phases for the processor itself, which draw energy from two 8-pin power connectors.

The detachable 3.5-inch M-Vision touchscreen is definitely the most important element of the board when it comes to accessories. This fits perfectly into the board’s casing, but nothing prevents you from removing it from it and connecting it to a computer via USB-C and providing yourself with a BIOS substitute on your desk. It is also worth mentioning the support of Wi-Fi 6, the presence of two USB 3.2 Generation 2 × 2, or a pair of PCIe 5.0.

Interestingly, MSI MEG Z690 GODLIKE will not be available for regular sale, because the company will only allow it to be bought by its customers who have purchased other Godlike boards or RTX 3090 / RTX 3080 cards. The price, however, is huge, because it is $ 2099. (the album itself is reportedly worth $ 1,400) and the fact that the set includes, among others, AIO cooling and 32 GB of DDR5 memory.
