The MSI WS65 is therefore a portable workstation, the performance of which consists of an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor and an Nvidia Quadro P4200 graphics card. The model will bring the desired breath of freshness to the manufacturer’s offer. Maybe not in terms of looks, but definitely of the performance on offer. It just so happens that we have already seen a minimalist combination of predominantly black with a few gold-colored inserts and a new logo on the lid. See the GS65 Sealth Thin.
The technical aspect is complemented by the possibility of adding an SSD to a PCIe or SATA interface. On the port side, the manufacturer decided to use three USB 3.1, one USB 3.1 Type-C, a single HDMI 2.0 video output and mDisplayPort 1.4. Fortunately, two traditional 3.5mm jack connectors have also been added. As for the screen, MSI in the WS65 decided on a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 100% sRGB mapping. In line with the smartphone tradition, the frames were as thin as possible.
WS65 is expected to debut in September, although its price has not yet been announced.
