OnePlus introduces another security update

OnePlus has already released another security update for many of its smartphones. Which models got it?

The new patch brings mainly software fixes, mainly in the field of OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 (OnePlus 9 series). We also have some performance improvements for third-party applications here. The update also received, after three years, the series “6”, in which OxygenOS 11.1.1.2 was detected. It will probably be the last such patch for these models. Of course, the company did not forget about the OnePlus Nord series, which got several region-specific fixes. In Europe, the OxygenOS DN2103_11_A.12, based on Android 11, is introduced. Here are some security and stability fixes.

Here, however, it is worth noting that while the above-mentioned series got the November update, there are still many models waiting for the fixes from September and October. The OnePlus Nord N100 has the greatest delays and the September update has not yet been implemented, while the OnePlus 7 series and OnePlus Nord models have not been implemented in October.

OnePlus updates are rolled out in stages, so it’s currently hard to say when you can expect them to roll out to everyone. You can follow the information through the Oxygen Updater community, where you can find the official update files as soon as they are publicly available. However, be aware that you may run into problems with such an update.
