OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition is the first smartphone with Dimensity 9000

During the presentation of the Find X5 series, OPPO also showed us the version of the Pro model, powered not by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but by Dimensity 9000, the latest flagship MediaTek chip. OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition is therefore the first smartphone in the world to reach for this chipset.

OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition is not for everyone. Unfortunately

The Find X5 series certainly did not disappoint anyone, because the smartphones presented by OPPO not only look great, but also have a really great specification. Of course, we do not know how they will turn out in practice, because we have to wait for the first independent tests. On the occasion of the premiere, OPPO showed another, special variant of the Pro model. Why special? Because instead of the latest Qualcomm chip, it is equipped with a Dimensity 9000. Unfortunately, this version is reserved only for China, which is a pity, because tests have shown that the flagship MediaTek chipset is in many respects better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We only regret that the manufacturer decided not to implement it on the global market.

In the OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition variant, a few changes have been made to the standard Pro model. Screen specifications, battery capacity and charging remained unchanged. The difference, however, comes down to the lack of a MariSilicon X chip, a 5-axis OIS, and Hasselblad color calibration. In theory, this means worse photographic possibilities than the standard Find X5 Pro, although in practice it may turn out to be completely different and the difference will not be so noticeable.
