Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6375 is said to be a new SoC for budget gaming smartphones

Qualcomm is getting ready to conquer the market with several new SoC systems, including those designed for budget smartphones and mid-range ones. An example of this is reportedly SoC Snapdragon SM6375 and SM6225 from Qualcomm, about which new information was provided by the WinFuture report.

According to unofficial information, the Snapdragon SM6375 will be created in four variants and will go to budget gaming smartphones

According to this report, Qualcomm is working on at least two platforms – Snapdragon SM6375 and Snapdragon SM6225, although in general the company is currently testing as many as four variants of each platform, but with different clock speeds. How much? Take a look below knowing that the graphics core itself is clocked in the 800 to 960 MHz range:

  • 4x Kryo Gold at 2.5 GHz + 4x Kryo Silver at 2.2 GHz
  • 4x Kryo Gold at 2.3 GHz + 4x Kryo Silver at 2.1 GHz
  • 4x Kryo Gold at 2.2 GHz + 4x Kryo Silver at 2.0 GHz
  • 4x Kryo Gold at 2.1 GHz + 4x Kryo Silver at 1.8 GHz

Thus, the Snapdragon SM6375 will include a CPU with eight cores, half of which will be Kryo Gold cores, and the other half Kryo Silver. However, we do not know the name of the SM6375, so we are not sure if it will join the Snapdragon 7xx series or the 6xx series. However, we know that the SM6225 will be part of the Snapdragon 6xx series, and TSMC will be responsible for their production.

One of the chips will reportedly be able to power displays with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, but the mention that another is currently being tested in conjunction with a 90 Hz FHD + display, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 memory clearly indicates that the game is mid-range models will come.
