Recently, Samsung filed a new trademark with the European Patent Office. It concerns the “Artistic Live Focus” function and the Galaxy S10 will most likely be equipped with it.
Artistic Live Focus seems to be the successor to the Live Focus mode that debuted in August 2017. This is Samsung’s version of Portrait Mode, and it adds background bokeh to accentuate a particular photo. There are several keywords in the patent application that lead us to the application. These are a smartphone, computer software to process images or to create digital animations and special photo effects. Unfortunately, on this basis, we are not able to tell you what exactly the new option will be.
The Galaxy S10 will debut in February and then we will probably learn more about it. Certainly Samsung will boast of a new feature, so we have to wait patiently for it.
