Sapphire registers 19 graphics cards from the AMD Radeon RX 5000 series

Only a few days have passed since Nvidia unveiled the Geforce RTX Super series, where the duo Geforce RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2060 Super are the initial launches. On July 7, AMD meets the rival with two own graphics cards in the form of Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT, both of which are based on the new architecture RDNA, or Navi which is its more well-known name.

According to AMD, the Radeon RX 5700 XT will perform better than the Geforce RTX 2070 in games, and there are many indications that the Super version of the latter has been developed to counteract this. Now it is revealed that the Radeon RX 5000 series can brood on more and more powerful graphics cards, after the manufacturer Sapphire registered about twenty different model names with the Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU).

In addition to the two already known graphics cards, 19 variants can be seen that follow the same name scheme, where the Radeon RX 5950 XT and RX 5950 can be potential top models. At the other end of the spectrum are the RX 5500 XT and RX 5500, which are likely to be cheaper cards adapted for less demanding tasks, similar to Nvidia’s entry-level model Geforce GTX 1650.

The database does not reveal any details about the amount of graphics memory or other specifications, and when more Navi-based graphics cards may reach the market is currently unclear. It is also worth noting that AMD has not communicated any additional Radeon RX 5000 models. Previously, however, a trio of graphics circuits with Navi prefixes appeared in drivers for Linux, which proves that more graphics cards are lurking on the horizon.
