Sony is currently working on its next smartphone. This is the XZ4 model whose renders have just hit the network.
The device was leaked in photos and a 360-degree film. It will have a 6.5-inch display without a cutout, which should appeal to many customers. Unfortunately, the frames above and below the display are a bit large – the competition can slim them down much more. The XZ4 should measure 166.9 x 72.4 x 8.2mm, so it will be thicker than the competition. Also in terms of this parameter, the phone may have a hard time on the market. It will also be a larger and narrower smartphone than the iPhone Xs Max, which means it is to be a really large design. It is also possible that Sony will return to the fingerprint reader located on the side.
We expect the phone to debut at CES 2019. Most likely, however, then the Sony show will steal other, more innovative designs. I wonder if the company will surprise us with something.
