AMD announced the release of new graphics drivers, Radeon Adrenaline 21.7.1 Beta, which add support to F1 2021 released today, where a performance improvement of up to 26% with a Radeon RX 6800 XT running the game at 1080p resolution alongside Ultra graphics quality, while the improvement is up to 6% at 4K resolution with active RayTracing.

Additionally, support is added for AMD Radeon RX 6700M and AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics for notebook computers.

As fixes, we have the solution to the error that showed Oculus Link when using a Radeon RX 6000/5000 Series, lighting corruption in Apex Legends when using Radeon Boost; AMD User Experience Program or 3DMark Time Spy using high memory; or the graphical corruption in Carrior with the anisotropic filter activated.

For the rest, they have been indicating for months that they know that AMD Radeon VII continues to cause image freeze issues in Resident Evil Village but they have not yet implemented any solution. The rest of the known problems to be solved are all tied to the company’s own software.
