The delivery set includes two brochures and an adapter from 2.5 ” to 3.5 ” with mounting screws for installing the drive into a standard bay of the system unit.
The SSD itself is housed in a plastic box:
The disc body is metal with a glossy black finish with imitation of milling marks. On its back there is an information sticker with the name of the product model and its serial number. In addition to it, there is a sticker with the serial key of the Acronis True Image HD program (the utility itself must be downloaded from the official ADATA website).
Of all other software, the disc is accompanied only by the standard software of the LSI controller manufacturer with replaced logos
This program also needs to be downloaded from the ADATA website, and you will need to provide your email address. The ADATA product is based on 25nm MLC memory operating in asynchronous mode, SandForce SF-2281 is used as a controller.
After creating the file system (MBR, NTFS), 119.24 GB becomes available to the user.
Crucial M4 128 GB (CT128M4SSD1)
First of all, it should be noted that there are three configuration options for this model:
- Version marked CT128M4SSD1 and CT128M4SSD2: the simplest option – there is nothing in the standard delivery, only the disc itself and the box and an information booklet;
- Version marked CT128M4SSD2BAA: there is an adapter for installing this SSD into a standard bay for 3.5 ”hard drives and one SATA cable;
- Version marked CT128M4SSD2CCA: the kit includes a CD with software and a special adapter cable that allows you to connect a SATA drive to a USB connector (the cable itself is version 2.0; the drive is also powered from USB – the one to which it is connected).
In addition to these solutions, there is a model labeled CT128M4SSD3 – an option in mSATA format.
The simplest version of this media – CT128M4SSD1 – got into testing. It comes in a simple box with a hinged lid.
Inside – only the disc itself in an antistatic bag, and the entire free remaining volume of the box is occupied by a form of dense material
