The availability of graphics cards is declining, so the price is also growing, i.e. the market in mid-September

The latest market summary from 3DCenter has hit the network, covering stores in Germany and Austria. Unfortunately, we have bad news, because it looks like the availability of graphics cards has started to decline, and this has translated into a few percent price increases.

Prices and availability of graphics cards – as of mid-September

NVIDIA and AMD are silent about launching their cheap graphics cards (GeForce RTX 3050 and Radeon RX 6600 respectively), which is a pity, because this duo would definitely allow you to buy the model at a more reasonable price due to their low profitability in cryptocurrency miners. It would be handy, because while Radeon prices have been rising since July, GeForce RTX prices have started to increase since August and this trend will definitely not change in the coming weeks.

Thus, the GeForce RTX 3000 cards in about 20 days (from August 29 to September 19) saw an increase of a whole 11%, reaching a 170% copy, and Radeon RX 6000 by 10%, which means that they can “boast” an increase to 174%. Of course, we are talking about the sum of the average of all models in a given family.

Most interestingly, the flagship RTX 3090 card, so far holding the level of average increases, went up from 1999 to 2469 euros in terms of its lowest price during these 20 days. This, together with the increases in the RTX 3060 (from € 549 to € 599), added up to an 11% increase. In turn, in the AMD camp, the RX 6800 XT is the most expensive (from EUR 1149 to EUR 1299), and even the cheapest RX 6600 XT, which now requires from EUR 559 to EUR 599 instead of the suggested EUR 379.
