Earlier last week, Apple released a new update for its devices, including smartphones. iOS 15.4 primarily brings a long-awaited feature, but it was not without its problems.
We waited a long time for this novelty, but it was finally introduced with the new update. This is a nice convenience for those who don’t own an Apple Watch. Of course, the feature doesn’t work on all phones. It is available on iPhones 12 and 13. Apple also warns that this form of verification is less secure than normal Face ID, which should be taken into account.
However, with the new update, there is also a problem with battery life. IPhone users have started to massively report that their smartphones last dramatically short on a single charge. An example is iPhone 13 Pro Maxwhose battery lasted for half a day of work, or the iPhone 11, which discharged 80% after 24 hours, with the user noting that the screen had been on for about 2 hours at that time. All of this came out after installing the iOS 15.4 update.
Of course, this is not a universal problem, so not everyone will experience it. It can be expected that soon Apple will release an appropriate patch that will fix this error.
