The MacBook Pro 2021 cooling system is unusable most of the time

In the world of technology, semi-passive cooling systems are a miracle invention, providing both blissful silence and efficient cooling when needed. Apple is of the same opinion as the company’s words confirm. According to them, the MacBook Pro 2021 cooling system may be great, but in practice it will not have much to do.

Exclusive MacBook Pro 2021 cooling system

All because the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro are based on a completely new housing and solutions, including an improved cooling system. According to Apple, this one is able to blow 50% more air through the housing at lower fan speeds than its predecessor. This only comes in handy when the MacBooks are really, but really heavily loaded.

All thanks to the exceptional level of energy efficiency of the new SoC M1 Pro and Max, which in everyday, undemanding work (watching movies, browsing the web) generate so little heat that cooling can be handled without the participation of fans blowing on the heat sink. Therefore, these can remain dormant and only activate when heat becomes a problem.

We will wait a few more days for this to be verified, because currently 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1‌ Pro or ‌M1‌ Max chipsets are currently available for pre-sale and will begin shipping next week. Then, independent people and testers will take the floor on efficiency and cooling.
