The premiere of the Motorola Moto G50 5G with the MediaTek chipset

After the Moto G50 debuted in March, Motorola waited a full five months to introduce a newer version to the market. In other words, the premiere of the Moto G50 5G has just taken place, and it ditched the Qualcomm chipset in favor of MediaTek.

The Moto G50 5G specification differs from the basic version with the chipset and the cameras on the back. Visually, we can see, first of all, the change of the camera island and the moved fingerprint reader to the side edge. When it comes to its price, it is 399 Australian dollars (approximately PLN 1130), and as a reminder, the Moto G50 model appeared on our market for PLN 899. So far, we don’t know anything about its availability outside of Australia.

The manufacturer replaced the Qualcomm chip with MediaTek, and more precisely on Dimensity 700. He works with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storagethat can be expanded with a microSD card. It is powered by a battery with a capacity 5000 mAh with charging support with a power of 15 Wand all of this is supervised by the Android 11 system with the My UX graphic overlay (by Motorola).

Its display is 6.5 inch LCD panel with HD + resolution with refresh rate 90 Hz. It also houses a selfie camera with a resolution of 13 Mpx. From the rut this was the main unit based on 48-Mpx matrix, next to which there is also a macro camera and a depth sensor with a resolution 2 Mpx. We can also count on the presence of a 3.5 mm jack input and NFC connectivity.
