NIU had a lot to show at EICMA 2021, but among the company’s new electric vehicles (bicycles, scooters and scooters), the most notable is the NIU MQi GT Evo, the brand’s fastest electric scooter.
The MQi GT Evo electric scooter from NIU accelerates to a maximum speed of 100 km / h, previously unattainable for scooters from this manufacturer. This is due to a 5 kW (6.7 hp) electric hub motor powered by a pair of 72V 26Ah batteries with a range of up to 85km, providing it with a record voltage level in NIU’s history.

It is said that it was designed to “be fun from the moment you press the throttle”, but its performance is still not overwhelming, because it accelerates to 60 km / h in less than six seconds. This is, on the one hand, a great result, but most importantly, it provides NIU with room for improvement and development of its offer further and further in the field of urban models.

The MQi GT Evo from NIU also has a keyless start, electric steering column lock, application sharing function, and a completely new TFT color display. This is a great combination for the price of 4,999 Euro in Europe.
