This is what the laminate of the GeForce RTX 4090 looks like

On the Igor’sLAB website, which has been giving us pre-release information about computer hardware for a long time, a diagram has appeared, allegedly showing the laminate of the GeForce RTX 4090 card. What does it reveal?

Unofficial laminate of GeForce RTX 4090

Mass production for the GeForce RTX 4090 is expected in August, according to a source. As far as we know, NVIDIA will recycle for the new series, reaching for the RTX 3090 Ti base, to such an extent that the laminate and RTX 4090 cooling system (and more) can be very similar to the current flagship.

Information so far indicates that there are two laminate numbers for the next generation of NVIDIA GPUs: PG139 and PG136. Thus, the former takes the shape of the letter V and will be used, for example, in the Founders Edition, and the latter is a traditional rectangle that will go to e.g. for RTX 4090 and 4080.

This leak indicates that the new laminate will still have four display connectors: 3x DisplayPort and one HDMI. The presence of NV-Link is also evident, suggesting the design of this laminate for the RTX 4090, and a single, next-generation 16-pin power connector that has the potential to deliver up to 600 watts of power.
