At CES 2022, NVIDIA announced the most affordable desktop graphics card in its entire line-up. Today, in turn, we can already see a photo of the GeForce RTX 3050 laminate, which drives the GA106-150 core thanks to the Videocardz service and a rich press from the Inno3D company.

GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB is expected to be released on January 27, when graphics cards from manufacturers will hit the market, because NVIDIA will not create a reference version. This competition for, among others Radona RX 6500 XT will be more expensive than it ($ 249 – ~ 2000 PLN vs $ 199 ~ 1700/1800 PLN), but with good reason, because the offer from NVIDIA will be much more efficient. The mentioned GA106-150 GPU provides 2560 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus, and the card’s TGP is 130 watts.

Above you can see both the graphics processor and a total of four GDDR6 memory chips with a transfer of 14 Gb / s. The card laminate itself is modest and densely packed, requiring an 8-pin PCIe connector to power it.
