MOSCOW, 13 Oct – PRIME. The oil leak on the Druzhba pipeline did not lead to a reduction in the supply of Russian raw materials to Poland or Germany, Transneft reported.
“We have not reduced transportation. We have a planned one,” said Sergey Andronov, vice president of the company, on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.
He specified that Transneft sends fuel to Poland, after which the Polish operator delivers it to Germany.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Polish operator of the Druzhba oil pipeline reported a leak on one of the lines of the pipeline. Later, the Ministry of Economy of Brandenburg announced a drop in pressure in the second line.
According to Polish authorities, the incident occurred as a result of accidental damage, and not deliberate sabotage.
