Travel agency Travala and TravelByBit merge

Two major travel agencies in the cryptocurrency industry, Travala and TravelByBit, join forces to create "one of the world's largest online travel agencies".

TravelByBit, a crypto-startup specializing in flight reservations and supported by the giant Binance, has announced that it is partnering with the blockchain travel agency Travala.

It is a strategic decision between Travala.com and TravelByBit, who have been the main players in the creation of blockchain-based travel booking platforms in the past two years, "said a statement.

As part of this merger, the two firms will jointly market travel offers and plan, in the near future, to fully integrate their different services. They currently make it possible to book flights and hotels via around twenty cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Binance Coin.

Last fall, Binance and TravelbyBit have launched a debit card allowing to pay in cryptocurrencies on several popular travel booking sites such as Booking and Expedia.

To know that Travala also has connections with the crypto-exchange since its platform operates the blockchain Binance Chain since last year.

Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao, welcomed the partnership and said that "Travala.com and TravelbyBit have proven their ability to create world-class travel booking platforms valued by the crypto community."
