The Coronavirus pandemic has forced many people to working from home, allowing both employees and companies to experience a "new way of working", based more on objectives than on time spent in the office. The so-called telework, or smart working in a broader sense of the term.

"Opening the offices will be our decision. When and if the employees return, it will be their choice"said a spokeswoman. Dorsey, in an email to the employees, said that Twitter is unlikely to reopen before September and that all meetings will be canceled for the rest of the year.
"The past few months have shown that work from home can work"added the spokeswoman." So if our employees have a role and situation that allows them to work from home and want to continue doing it forever, we will make that happen. Otherwise, our offices will be warm and welcoming, with some additional precautions when we believe it will be safe to come back. "
