Two new satellites will enrich the satellite constellation for the geolocation of Unseelabs ships

Unseenlabs is a French company that has the world’s most developed constellation of independent satellites to detect RF signals. It provides its services to public and private companies, simply guaranteeing access to ship relocation. Apparently he wants to increase the accuracy of what he has to offer after new partnerships with Japan and the US.

Unseelabs will expand its satellite constellation to geolocate ships, but that’s just the beginning

We learned that the current constellation Unseenlabs will be expanded by two more satellites – BRO-6 and BRO-7, that is, the sixth and seventh, respectively. Both will be used strictly for the geolocation of ships at sea and will be launched into orbit this month using Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket and SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. They will therefore capture, characterize and geolocate signals generated by ships.

We plan to expand the constellation to 20 satellites. The goal is to achieve near-constant maritime surveillance of RF activities around the world. Our constellation is at the forefront of the commercial sector when it comes to RF intelligence. Thanks to these newest satellites, we will be offering data and information more frequently to our government and commercial partners. We wanted to say how grateful we are to our partners in these missions – Exolaunch, SpaceX and Rocket Lab – who work with our team and make our launches possible

– Jonathan Galic, CTO and co-founder of Unseenlabs.

The constellation was designed to provide customers with data to track sea traffic, regardless of the time of day and weather conditions. Unseenlabs processes and analyzes this data, providing knowledge for national security operations, environmental protection and a growing number of commercial sector applications.
