UFS 3.0 result in AndroBench leaked

UFS 3.0 AndroBench, AndroBench UFS 3.0, benchmark UFS 3.0, UFS 3.0 performance

A year ago, the Solid State Technology Association (JEDEC) released the Universal Flash Storage v3.0 standard. According to it, the performance is to be twice as high as UFS 2.1. The results of the test of the new memory in the AndroBench benchmark have just appeared on the web.

In UFS 3.0 test, it got 2279.9 MB / s reading and 1801.1 MB / s writing. These results are actually almost twice as large as the predecessor. Applying this to your smartphone will actually make it work faster. This applies in particular to installing and running applications.

Currently, however, only one processor officially supports UFS 3.0. This is the Exynos 9820 from Samsung. It is believed that the Snapdragon 855 should also support the new standard, however, its official website does not mention anything about it. I wonder if the new Samsung smartphones will use the potential of UFS 3.0.
