More and more manufacturers want to create structures with a hole for the front camera in the screen. They are joined by Asus, who has filed two patents confirming these intentions.
Patents show three versions of the smartphone. The first one, however, concerns the mechanism that slides out with the camera, but the second one is based on the increasingly popular opening in the screen. Both structures look interesting on paper and each of them will surely find their clients.
Remember, however, that these are only patents that do not necessarily have to be realized. The smartphones look more like belonging to the Zenfone series than the ROG. Asus wants to focus on the latter now, so we won’t see these constructions soon. Well, unless the company wants to surprise us with something and at the beginning of the year introduce a model that will be competitive.
