Version 15.4.4 of the K-Lite codecs available for download

The codec package of the K-Lite series reaches version 15.4.4  in the traditional Basic, Standard, Full and Mega versions in order of complexity. Their installation allows you to see updated the video codecs present in your system so as to guarantee full support to all types of standards present and used on the market.

The different versions of the codecs, from the basic to the most complete mega, allow users to choose an increasingly complex combination of codecs and functionality, so as to better adapt to specific needs. Below is a summary of the new features introduced in this new release for the  K-Lite Mega Codec Pack version, the richest and most complex of the lot, compared to what is integrated in previous versions:

• Updated MPC-HC to version 1.9.2.12
• Updated LAV Filters to version 0.74.1-34-g1ceac
• Updated MPC Video Renderer to version 0.4.4.1220
• Updated MediaInfo Lite to version 20.03
• MPC-HC now has a AB Repeat function, which you can control with the [and] keys.
• Subtitle search in MPC-HC using OpenSubtitles service may not return any results. They have applied search and download restrictions to prevent server overload now that many people are staying at home. You can bypass these restrictions by creating a free account on the opensubtitles.org website. You can then use these login details in MPC-HC settings (Options> Subtitles> Misc> right-click on OpenSubtitles> Setup).
