Voyager modular guitar lets you change tones at your command

Known on the scene of original guitars Ian Reddick, incl. of the guitar Mercury returned three years after the last product with a new idea. Now, the Voyager modular guitar is also at stake, but this time with a view not to transport, but to sound.

Voyager guitar owes its modularity, and therefore flexibility, to two parts of the casing, which allow you to change the character of the pickups and the controls themselves.

Thanks to its modularity, the Voyager guitar can not only sound completely different

In the first case, the “guitar core” between the bridge and the top of the 22-fret, 25.5-inch maple neck with a Mexican ebony fingerboard is simply pushed out from under the strings and replaced with another one with a 12-pin magnetic connector. It connects to the on-board electronics automatically.

Changing the controls is a bit harder, because the bridge and control blocks with switches for the pickups are secured with D-ring thumbscrews, so it’s a bit more of a hassle.

However, now, as part of the promotion, you can order it for $ 1,499.99 (PLN 5,850), choosing between ash, walnut and cherry, as far as the body itself is concerned. Additional modules start at $ 199.99, but the prices of these controls are still unknown.
