The new material is called DuPont and was produced by DuPont technologies. What will we gain thanks to an innovative material? It turns out that the new Xiaomi jacket is stain resistant. Mud, juice or just raindrops will run down on it, which will prevent serious contamination of the material. DuPont intends to introduce its material in medicine, and there are plans to use it in the aerospace industry as well. An additional plus is that the material can withstand temperatures from -73 ° C to 100 ° C.
Interestingly, Xiaomi decided to finance the production during a fundraiser. The crowdfunding campaign will allow you to buy a jacket for $ 66. There will be five sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL. Shipping from China will start on November 11.
