A Chinese site publishes a review of the Intel Core i9-10900K, showing its performance in benchmarks and in games.

While the NDA for reviews of the 10th Intel Core processors. Generation for desktop "Comet Lake-S" has not yet finished, a Chinese site published its review of the Intel Core i9-10900K revealing its performance in various synthetic tests and also in games.

In tasks that have the ability to take advantage of a large number of cores such as Cinebench R15 and R20, the Intel Core i9-10900K lags behind the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X due to its lower number of cores and threads.

The story changes when using applications that only take advantage of a limited number of cores, since the high frequencies of the Intel processor allow it to excel in this type of task and widely surpass both AMD Ryzen 9 processors.

These high frequencies also allow the Intel processor to excel in gaming, outperforming AMD's processors in all three tested titles (Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Metro: Exodus, and Tomb Raider) even when using 2560 × 1440 resolution.

In this way, we continue in almost the same position as with the previous generation: In tasks that take advantage of all the cores, AMD is the victor, while in tasks that only take advantage of a limited number of cores, the higher frequencies of Intel allow it to obtain the leadership. This is likely to change with the arrival of the new 4th Ryzen. Generation based on Zen 3, which thanks to its IPC increase of up to 20% and its higher frequencies will also surpass Intel in tasks that use a limited number of cores.

What do you think about the performance of the Intel Core i9-10900K? Do they stay with this alternative or do they prefer a Ryzen 9?
