ADATA prepares a new mouse with a 1TB SSD inside “to take your games everywhere”

ADATA announced its participation in CES 2022 this morning, and revealed that in addition to presenting a wide range of PC components ranging from DDR5 RAM with speeds of 7000MT / s and PCI-E 5.0 SSDs with readings of 14GB / s to cabinets, sources power supply and AIOs, it will also present its new line of peripherals, led by a curious mouse with an SSD inside.

XPG will also allow visitors to take a look at its latest concept product called the XPG Vault, a USB-C wired mouse that seeks to be “your library of games, in the palm of your hand.” The current prototype can integrate up to 1TB of Solid State memory running at 985MB / s and a Game Launcher that promises to make your game libraries easily portable and a higher level of integration with the XPG Prime Software Ecosystem.

According to the statement, this mouse will carry inside an SSD of up to 1TB (Which implies that we will see several versions with different capacities?) With speeds of up to 985MB / s, and will use a USB Type-C connection, combining a portable SSD with a mouse in a single device. The idea is that we can access our favorite games on any PC that we connect this mouse, without carrying an SSD and a mouse separately, which is somewhat curious.

If you are to use the same mouse with your laptop and your desktop PC, this product is really not a bad idea to carry files that we need to have on both sides, although its price and specifications will have to be seen to see if it is more convenient. buy this “XPG Vault” or purchase a mouse and an SSD separately for higher performance, lower cost, or maybe even both. In the case of a prototype, it is not even known if we will see this product on the market, so everything will depend on the reception of the public. We will keep you updated on the news, and we would also like to know what you think about this idea.

What do you think about this ADATA idea of combining an SSD and a mouse in one device? Would you buy it if it had a good price for its features or would you not use a device of this type?
