AMD Zen 4 CPU, RDNA3 GPU, NVIDIA Hopper and an Intel Xe GPU

The products manufactured by TSMC at 5nm have already been confirmed in a ChinaTimes leak and, although they are products that we already expected, such as AMD Zen 4 CPU, AMD Radeon RDNA 3 GPU and NVIDIA Hoppper GPU, in addition to all that, you can see a Intel Xe. There have been many rumors that Intel would be working with 5nm and from what we see, they are doing it, and this perfect one, is the only way to compete today in this market.

Intel is leveraging TSMC factories in a move that might surprise many people, but it makes perfect sense to us. Since the Intel graphics team, which consists of a former Radeon leader, worked closely with TSMC.

On the other hand, it looks like NVIDIA will release its GPU Hopper (probably MCM based) next year, with TSMC's 5nm process as well. Things are starting to seem very exciting to tech enthusiasts.

TSMC's 5nm process will enter the mass production phase in the third quarter. Although the orders in the second half are mainly from Apple and HiSilicon, other major customers like Qualcomm, Mediatek, Xilinx, Broadcom, AMD and Nvidia They have already begun designing their 5nm chips, which are expected to go into mass production over the next 2 years. Also, there are rumors that Intel may outsource some of its 5nm chips with TSMC. Analysts expect TSMC to reach its 10% revenue target with 5nm this year and set a new record of 25-30% for the whole of next year.

“According to equipment industry sources, TSMC's 5nm orders will explode next year. In addition to Apple and HiSilicon processors, the new Snapdragon 875 5G SoC and Qualcomm's X60 modem will be added, the next generation of Nvidia GPUs with Hopper architecture, AMD CPUs with Zen4 microarchitecture, and RDNA3 graphics architecture . Recent industry rumors also suggest that Intel will become one of TSMC's main customers with 5nm. ”
