An AMD engineer confirms that RDNA3 GPUs will be manufactured with 5nm and 6nm processes

Through his Linkedin page, an AMD engineer mentioned that he worked on the designs of Navi 31 at 5nm and 6nm, Navi 32 at 5nm and 6nm, and Navi 33 at 6nm, strengthening multiple previous rumors about these graphics cards based on the RDNA3 architecture.

According to previous rumors, the Navi 31 and Navi 32 GPUs were to feature a multi-DIE design with multiple chiplets, using a 5nm process for the GPU DIEs and a 6nm process for the I/O DIE, while the Navi 33 would use a single DIE with a monolithic design manufactured at 6nm. This information revealed on Linkedin practically confirms these rumors by mentioning that Navi 31 and Navi 32 will combine 5nm and 6nm processes while Navi 33 will only use the 6nm process, so everything indicates that these will be the configurations that we will see in the next generation of Radeon GPUs.

Navi 31 expected to be the GPU powering the Radeon RX 7900 XT up to the RX 7800, Navi 32 expected to be the GPU powering the RX 7700 XT, and Navi 33 expected to be the GPU powering the RX 7600 XT and RX 7600 XT . The high-end GPUs would launch around October, and then we would progressively see the rest of the lineup launch.

What do you think about this leaked information about AMD RDNA3 GPUs? Do you think this is a confirmation of Multi-DIE GPUs in the RX 7000 line?
