Another new products from Apple – iPad, iPad mini and Apple Watch Series 7

Yesterday’s Apple conference brought us the premieres of not only iPhones 13, but also other devices. So let’s check what else is shown.

iPad i iPad mini

The new Apple tablets surprised us a bit and we are not talking about the specifications or their very existence. However, we expected their premiere to take place on a different date. Apparently, Apple wanted to present all the new devices right away.

So let’s start with the iPad specs. We will be offered an IPS screen with a diagonal of 10.2 inches and a resolution of 2160 × 1620 pixels. It was additionally covered with an oleophobic coating. The tablet is powered by an Apple A13 Bionic processor. It will be available in WiFi and WiFi + Cellular versions. On board there will be stereo speakers, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11a / b / g / n / ac), 2.4 and 5 GHz, and in the WiFi + Cellular version – LTE, eSIM and WiFi connections.

The lithium-polymer battery has a capacity of 32.4 Wh, which is enough for up to 10 hours of surfing the Internet via WiFi. The camera has a resolution of 8 Mpix and allows you to record video with a maximum resolution of 1080p 30 fps. The tablet works on iPadOS 15.

iPad mini, as the name suggests, is equipped with a smaller IPS display with a diagonal of 8.3 inches and a resolution of 2266 × 1488 pixels. Here, Apple has opted for the latest Apple A15 Bionic processor. And this model is available in WiFi or WiFi + Cellular (5G, eSIM, WiFi connection).

The wide-angle camera will allow you to record video with a maximum resolution of 4K 60 fps. The battery, also lithium-polymer, has a capacity of 19.3 Wh.

• 256 GB – from PLN 2499.

iPad mini:

• 64 GB – from PLN 2599,
• 256 GB – from PLN 3399.

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple also presented a new generation of smartwatch, which will be available in the following colors: green, blue, moonlight, midnight, (PRODUCT) RED. The design of the device has been refreshed, the sides of the case have been changed, which not only have been flattened, but also narrowed by 40%. The edges of the casing are also rounded, and a digital crown and a Home button are placed on them. The buttons have also been redesigned and enlarged.

We will charge Apple Watch Series 7 in 45 minutes to approx. 80 percent. via USB-C connection. Importantly, Apple will allow us to write on the smartwatch, because the device supports an on-screen keyboard. Increased protection has also been taken care of, the smartwatch is dustproof in accordance with the IP6X certificate, the screen has also been strengthened. The display itself, compared to the previous generation of watches, is about 16 percent larger. Apple reports that the battery will be enough for a working day.

We don’t know when the Apple Watch Series 7 will go on sale yet, but it’s expected to happen this fall. Price? $ 399.
